Greasy or food-crusted cardboard goes in the Green Bin for composting.  

Take note: non-greasy cardboard should be recycled instead.  

Recycling provides greater environmental benefits than composting because recycling conserves natural resources by putting materials back into the manufacturing system so they can be used again.
