Recycle by City

Shredded paper is not accepted in curbside recycle or compost carts.  Shredded paper should be bagged and placed in the Garbage Cart. 

The City of Lafayette hosts shredding events twice a year for residents at no cost. 

TIP: Shredded paper can be reused as padding when shipping packages or placed in the garbage cart.
