Trees do talk with each other!  

Trees send chemical, hormonal, and electrical signals to alert other trees when they're under attack or distressed. 

Scientists are just starting to understand trees' social nature and how they depend on each other for survival.  Trees are much more alert, social, and intelligent than we've previously understood.
