Recycle by City

Electronics should not be placed in your recycling or garbage cart.  

Old electronics can be recycled through many electronics retailers like Best Buy, Staples, or Dell. Or, they can be dropped off at any of the Electronics Recycling events that take place across the city from April through December. 

Disposing of electronics properly is mandated by Illinois state law because electronics contain precious metals, rare earth elements, and toxic chemicals that shouldn't be landfilled.
